Smart factories are transforming the manufacturing industry by combining sophisticated technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), automation, and machine learning to enhance production processes. Traditional production planning approaches, on the other hand, are incapable of dealing with the complexities of smart factories. To fill this gap, our research team is creating an intelligent production planning system tailored to smart factories.
Our system employs machine learning algorithms to monitor real-time data from manufacturing processes and automatically alter production plans as needed. This includes resource planning, scheduling, and manufacturing activity coordination in order to maximize efficiency and decrease waste. The framework also includes predictive maintenance procedures to assure equipment dependability and uptime. Our findings should help to design more efficient and effective production processes and contribute to the Industry 4.0 ideology.
